Rope Park construction

Planning of the Rope Park began at the start of 2008, construction commenced mid-October 2008 and opening on 20 December 2008. Initiator, client and operator of the Grindelwald Indoor Rope Park is grindelwaldSPORTS AG, the Swiss Snow and Mountain Sports School in Grindelwald.

Angela Bruderer (www.flinx.ch) was responsible for the project management of the Indoor Rope Park and is supporting the client in marketing and commissioning up until opening.

The construction team also included mountain guides Hanueli Klossner, Martin Burgener, Markus Wicky, Lorenz Frutiger and Urs Studer. They are trained in working with suspended ropes, are qualified specialists and brought with them wide practical experience for construction of the park. They were supported by Thomas Signer and Tina (operational manageress of Grindelwald Indoor Rope Park from December 2008).
